Attempt 1: So my first storyboard was completely shut down... The concept was the girl above asleep with a dream animated above her head and as she wakes up she interacts with it. I was told I don't have enough time to do this so I dug a grave for it.
Attempt number 2: The storyboard above. I found going to the space and interacting with the actress to be I was able to move around the home and look at places where I can position the camera and play with lighting. I took the above photos so I could incorporate and cut out a lot of scenes to get the film to flow correctly and figure out how I will apply my type.
Storyboard: The picture above is the attempt 2 storyboard without Jodie's amendments. I'll explain how the type is applied; The words are lyrics from the song Clair De Lune a soft yet uplifting song. The type is sitting on top of the film but interacts with the movements in the film and floats away. It matches the music style. The speed and scenes of the film slow down and jump with the beat of the song.
In Class: Jodie didn't make me cry... yet. All I have to do is colour the type so it is visible and position it to align with her head in all the scenes :)
